Inspired by the Orangutans of Borneo who collect leaves to use as head coverings to protect themselves from the rain or strong sunshine. A dark green velour felt structured beret. The veins on the felt leaves covering the hat are scorched with a soldering iron before being hand painted with gold paint. Each leaf is individually hand sewn onto the hat and then dotted with diamante crystals to resemble rain drops
